Anton Yelchin Authored a Script at 16 Concerning the Sexual Side of Mannequins

Many people would classify Anton Yelchin as "the man who performed Chekov in J.J. Abram's 'Star Trek.'" However, inside a recent interview with NY Magazine, the 22-year-old actor describes that he's a lot more than that. For instance, he loves early Norwegian dying metal, lo-fi YouTube cult videos and David Lynch films. Oh, and that he also authored a script at age 16 about "a man who had erotic visions of mannequins." Yelchin later continued to shoot "a large number of hrs of footage" exploring his "conflicted sexual feelings." (Or because he referred to it: "Why am I more switched on by [a girl's] hipster dresses than an Erectile dysfunction Sturdy shirt? I have been designed. I look for strange sexual things simply to negate that.") Based on your style of film, both ideas may seem mildly intriguing or completely horrifying. Before you jump to conclusions, possibly you need to let Yelchin explain this idea further. For that film, he's questioned destitute people, crosscut by using interviews of teenage mall-rat women, and recorded auditions with youthful stars who later play his figures. He plays themself, a imaginary version of themself, along with a documentarian. There is a destitute guy named Ass Guy, who wears a huge mask and talks with the mask's anus. He confesses a lot of it arrived on the scene "very chauvinistic" -- such as the time he requested an actress to "look at this dialogue about attempting to suck the Ass Man's c--k. I believed it was f-cking amusing, but that is so not awesome." He intentions of posting the footage he shot to film festivals. We are not necessarily sure things to model of Yelchin's turn from up-and-coming star to potential provocateur, but a minimum of it's outdoors the stereotypical mold Hollywood has produced for youthful stars and stars. As Yelchin states, he makes use of "the film to process the type of obsessions that provide him periodic paralyzing stress attacks." Hm, seems like something David Lynch would agree to. You can observe Yelchin in 'Like Crazy,' in limited release on Friday. [via NY] [Photo: Getty] Follow Moviefone on Twitter Like Moviefone on Facebook
